英语合成词 ( compound words )
把两个单词"简单"合并，成为一个新词，叫合成词。英语合成词极多，有些写作者还可以自造合成词，也有三个单词或更多单词组成的合成词。
1. 合成名词

使用合成词可以使句子更简单，如：
Australia is a country which speaks English = Australia is an English-speaking country. 澳大利亚是英语国家
people who love peace = peace-loving people 爱好和平的人民
a young man who looks good = a good-looking young man 帅哥
enterprises which are owned by state = state-owned enterprises 国企
